Goodish is built to be a quiet, private place. We designed it so there is nothing to collect, nothing to send, and nothing to store anywhere except on your phone.
Nothing. Goodish does not collect, transmit, or store any of your information on any server. There is no account, no sign-up, no login. Your name, your completed kindnesses, your notes, your reminder time, and your heatmap history all live only on your device.
Goodish does not include analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, advertising identifiers, or third-party trackers. It does not contact any server during normal use. It does not share your data with anyone, because there is no one to share it with.
If you turn on the daily reminder, Goodish schedules a single local notification on your device. This is handled entirely by iOS. No notification content is sent through Apple's push notification service or any server.
You can export a copy of your Goodish data at any time from Settings. The export is generated on your device and shared only through the destination you choose (Files, Mail, etc.). Goodish itself never sees or stores the export.
Deleting the Goodish app from your device removes all Goodish data. You can also clear everything from inside the app via Settings → Delete all data. There is no backup anywhere for us to delete, because there is no backup anywhere.
Goodish is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information about anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
If Goodish ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. We will not retroactively change what's been stated here without making it visible.
